SSM 316L sanitary stainless steel tubes are manufactured to the highest surface finish standards for hygienic processing. Both ID and OD polished to Ra ≤ 0.8μm (electropolished option down to Ra 0.5μm), these tubes meet 3A Sanitary and ASME BPE requirements.
- Dual-Side Polished: Both internal and external surfaces polished to Ra ≤ 0.8μm, eliminating bacterial harborage points and ensuring cleanability
- Electropolish Option: Available with electropolished ID finish (Ra ≤ 0.5μm) for critical pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications
- 316L Low Carbon: Full austenitic structure with controlled sulfur content (0.005-0.017%) for optimal orbital welding performance
- Cleanroom Packaging: Each tube end-capped and individually wrapped in cleanroom-grade polyethylene to prevent contamination during transit
Essential for dairy processing lines, brewery piping, pharmaceutical WFI (Water for Injection) systems, cosmetic manufacturing, food-grade heat exchangers, and biotechnology process piping.
Surface roughness profilometer tested, borescope inspected for internal defects, PMI chemistry verified, and hydrostatic pressure tested. Full material certification and surface finish reports provided.
